Temporary Local Rules
The following local rules are in addition to those printed on the scorecard:
NO PLAY ZONES (NPZ)
All areas circled in white paint and marked “NPZ” are designated as No Play Zones.
All newly seeded areas, whether marked or not, are designated NPZ.
Free relief MUST be taken from interference by any NPZ under Rule 16-1f.
Any temporary fencing on the course is to stop foot traffic and should be treated as a Movable Obstruction.

PREFERRED LIES
If Preferred Lies is allowed, as shown on scorecard, the following Local rule applies.
When a players ball lies on their own closely mown fairway the player may take free relief once by placing the original ball or another ball in, and playing it from, this relief area;
Reference Point; Spot of original ball.
Size of Relief Area; One club length from the reference point, but within these limits.
TREE REMOVAL DAMAGE
If a player’s ball is in the General Area and there is interference to lie or stance from ground damage caused by the removal of a tree then that area is to be treated as Ground Under Repair. A player may take free relief under Rule 16-1b.
Tree stumps are an integral part of the course.
